Job Description
Position: AP Test Prep Tutor (Online)
We are looking for passionate and experienced AP instructors to join our team and provide tutoring for high school students (grades 9-12) in various AP subjects, including AP Calculus AB. As an AP Test Prep Tutor, you'll have the opportunity to work with students one-on-one, helping them reach their academic goals and preparing them for success in their AP exams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized tutoring sessions for AP students in grades 9-12.
Develop customized lesson plans based on each student's unique learning style and academic goals.
Lead tutoring sessions that last 60-90 minutes, tailored to the needs of the student.
Maintain a reliable schedule with regular tutoring assignments.
Conduct tutoring sessions online, generally scheduled between 2 PM and 8 PM PST on weekdays and 10 AM to 4 PM PST on weekends.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has a passion for education and a strong desire to help students succeed.
Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Has experience teaching or tutoring AP subjects, specifically AP Calculus AB.
Is patient, adaptable, and able to provide individualized learning support.
Requirements:
Availability to tutor 6-20 hours per week.
A Bachelor's degree or higher.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience.
A genuine passion for helping others learn and grow.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rate of $35-$45, based on experience.
