Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs.
Special Education Teachers often specialize in teaching specific student groups (K-12th, Mild-Moderate Level Students, or students with Severe Autism). Relevant endorsements may be listed on your teaching license.
Experience working with student evaluations, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
An active Special Education State Teaching License is required.
For VOCO roles: Must have a State License, two years of school experience, and any necessary education certificates.
Teaching credential with any of the six SPED endorsements is preferred.

Start & End Date: 2024 - 2025 New School Year
Hours: Full-time and part-time options available

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with special needs.
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning goals.
Assess student progress and modify curriculum materials as needed, while implementing effective behavior management techniques to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
