UX/UI design Intern - Fintech / Real Estate

Job Type: Internship

Hours: Able to work during Pacific Time business hours (around 10 to 20 hours per week)

Position Location: Must be U.S.-based. We would highly prefer it if you are located in California.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

1. Initial Video Call

Duration: 10-15 minutes

Meet with our Head of Growth for a brief introductory video call. This is an opportunity to learn more about the role and for us to get to know you better.

2. In-Depth Video Interview

Duration: 1 hour

Have a detailed discussion with our engineering team. We'll dive deeper into your experience, skills, and how you can contribute to our team.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our founding team to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and engaging user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the proptech industry while contributing to projects that have a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Support the team in various design-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong portfolio showcasing design projects (academic or personal).
