Job Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Utility Operator associate in Gainesville, GA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand basic manufacturing processes, equipment operation, quality standards, safety protocols, and departmental procedures.
- Inspect and package parts according to specifications and document production data on in-process sheets.
- Perform tasks such as bundling, wrapping, stacking, packing, assembling, and labeling as directed.
- Operate machinery including side-wrappers, pallet jacks, and re-grinding/pre-breaker equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
Experience Requirements:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Experience operating machinery is beneficial.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Competence in basic math and measuring with hand tools.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Light to moderate physical activity throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
- Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable temperatures.
