CyberCore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large team, managing the entire warehousing process from receiving to distribution, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in warehouse management, a deep understanding of inventory controls, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities: - Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Oversee recruitment, training, development, and appraisal of warehouse personnel.
- Strategically manage warehouse operations in alignment with the company’s policies and vision, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
- Direct all aspects of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations, ensuring smooth and timely processes.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain inventory by implementing proper systems for receiving, warehousing, and distributing goods.
- Monitor stock levels and perform inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Implement improvement systems for inventory management and control.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Foster a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Update and improve warehousing practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
- Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand forecasting.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of warehouse equipment; arrange for repair and procurement as needed.
- Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget, monitoring expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure the smooth flow of goods.
- Plan and monitor the storage and distribution of goods to ensure they are correctly dispatched to where they are needed.
Required Qualifications: - A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Deep expertise in warehouse management procedures, best practices, and industry standards.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management and controls, with an ability to maintain high accuracy levels.
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
- Solid knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how to apply them effectively.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and equipment
Desired Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse management (e.g., CPIM or CSCP from APICS).
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar software systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and regulations.
- Active Secret Clearance is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
