Warehouse & Logistics Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee our distribution operations and lead our warehouse team. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational management to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods for maximum efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners
- Analyze and improve operational metrics, including inventory accuracy, shipping times, and labor costs
- Develop and manage departmental budgets
- Maintain quality control standards and procedures
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of warehouse management experience
- Proven track record of team leadership and development
- Experience with health and safety regulations and compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
