Overview:
Responsible for providing care and services to acute care patients and their families in the areas of wound, ostomy and continence in a manner that is consistent with the vision, mission, and values of WakeMed. Quality care and education based on current research and standards of care. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care and education related to wound ostomy and continence care. Collaborates with and provide services to healthcare team members as clinician, educator, consultant and professional.
